hurray !! Encik Vincent confirmed that my pay is coming in on this coming April!! i cant wait to see how much i get . My plan is to buy the Full Sus from XXXXX. I cant say the name now because it will only jeopardise my purchase as its a damn good bike with all the bling parts. Well, cep for the wheelset that is. Its not the colour that i want, but i hope air brushing over it wouldnt cost too much (:

Thing only set back is that it will cost me ard 6000dollars. Its something that i find it hard to come to terms with, its so damn expensive !!!! Its already a good buy and the seller is nice when i contacted him. I told him to wait for awhile till 10th when i get my pay.

Things i need to pay for before i can get my bike:

1.Poly School fees which i borrowed from the bank (dunno how much)
2.Buy insurance (160 dollars a month) -i need this because i will be riding on the road and i dont want any mishaps to happen to me without being protected, well riding with the helmet is of course the first thing to do for me.
3.Give Darling's mum 1000 dollars for taking such good care of me.
4.Give Darling 500 dollars for taking good care of me.
5.Pay Charles !!!! 300 dollars most impt !!!

I had a ride from Bala today. Bala is karen's husband and Karen is my god ma's daughter (:

I have to be at the Base for AE Type Course (which was cancelled eventually) , and i walked to Bala's place at 7.05am. It feels good to not have to wake up so early and wait for the buses. I reached Base at 7.45am. Took a slow walk up and realised that everyone isnt there yet. I was like OMG. It sucks to be there early and no one comes in.

The incharge for the AE type course is very lax. I dont really like him too. He doesnt seem interested at what we are going to learn. No notes, no preparations on the slides and he didnt even try the projector the day before to check if its working. Ended up with alot of problems today just setting up the projector for him to show his slides. I swear , i am gonna ask questions and make sure he cant answer it. I mean, i am not just asking questions for the sake of asking , i will be asking questions that is slightly harder to answer. oh well.. damn....

I am going to sell my board away, and it hurts alot to sell it off. I remembered the times where i tried so hard to get the board and to prepare transportation for it. Now that i remember , its very very sad actually. All the hard work that i put in. I havent decided if i am going to give up archery entirely. My bow is still with me. I am glad that i havent invested in a compound bow yet. Imagine buying it and then not shooting it. It would be such a waste; really...

Fulfilling your dreams !

Fulfilling your dreams !

I came across this 2 websites. Both are about fulfilling their dreams.

I respect this guy : http://singaporedream-rtw.blogspot.com/

And i dont give 2 hoots about this : http://www.ibelievethatdreamscancometrue.com

The second link shows 2 girls who wants to cycle around the world. They dont have money and they are asking ppl to fund them to cycle ard the world. And so they could sell the documented trip to the tv stations. DAMN IT MAN. I dont like that.

Things i wanna buy !!!

This is one helmet that i am considering , its not worth the buck sort of helmet because this cost ard 200 dollars ... Also i cant wear this for my offroad rides (well, theoretically i can but i will stick out like a sore thumb).

I already have a hand pump, what i need now is a floor pump which will help me pump my tires up faster. My tires always go 'soft' after a week and to maintain the pressure i need to always pump it up. Its veryt tiring unless i meet Vic and borrow his adapter. (:

Thats it for now. I gotta find someone to accompany me to Lionel's Party at his house's function room. I am having a headache now, half of me does not want to go but on the other hand, i feel obliged since i RSVP for the event on my facebook. Darn!! Lesson learnt.

Ironman Viper - Time Trial Bikes

This is an awesome looking bike. I would really love to own one of this aerodynamic piece of equipment but its just to expensive and impractical. Its just damn awesome lah.. Cant compare this to a Polygon. Also even if i could afford it, i wont be able to ride it well. It is a time trial bike and expect for going straight, i am going to have a hard time maneuvering .

Darn.. my gf's dad fishtank over flowed again today. After so long, this has to happen again. Its not the typical kind of fishes. Those are marine fishes and they need to live in salt water. And damn, did i mention that salt water are very sticky after they dried up ? And my gf's mum has been complaining that she dont want the fishes around if the tank always overflow.

Just now is a classic example of unforeseen circumstances . Gf's dad did some modifications to the tank's filtration system and sat there for about 2 hours to observe and made sure that there wont be an over flow. He went to sleep and next thing we know, the sound of tank over flowing , heng my gf SA quite high. Heard the sound and went out to check and then immediately informed us. Phew...

Had to mop the mess up twice .. I dont really like doing that you know. I really dont.. ):

This is the bike that i saw that Captain from Structures Flight using. He had Aero bars with him, but the picture shown was drop bars. I am not sure if it is possible to have this kind of set up. Tri bike frame and a drop bar. Yesterday Matthew said it isnt that good of an idea to use this kind of set up , mainly because your reach and the distance from you feet to the front wheel will be compromised. The front wheel will be nearer to your feet and if you wanna turn, its also quite difficult. Tri bikes looks great and awesome but i will still stick to the Tarmac SL3 unless something comes and its soo much more worth the buck (:

Specialized 2010 Tarmac SL3

Specialized 2010 Tarmac SL3

I wanna get this road bike. Qing Feng said that his friend got this at a whooping price of 3.8K from Tay Junction. I wanna get SRAM RED, his friend also got it and it cost him like a total of 5k plus. Its damn expensive, but i would rather do this and dont upgrade then get a Helios 780 at 2.8k and upgrade it later on spending even more. I dont like the upgrade poison, i love staying with me current bikes (:

The Route to ECP

Although i was a little reluctant for the ride yesterday, i still went ahead and wack hard for it. My legs were sore from the training for standing broad jumps on Thursday. Initially it was hard to get to my top speed , but afterawhile it became natural . I was very surprised to because it has been quite awhile since i rode long distances.

This is also the first time that i am making conscious effort to remember the route to ECP. I always am a follower and i end up getting lost most of the time when i go out alone. Now i wanna make that change and start leading the ride if i am at the front.

Was slow but later fast, i am not really sure if i am really fast or are those ppl ard me are slow. With my 2.35 tires and my Dual Chain Ring, i can hit ard the same speed as them - 22km/hr (that is if i want to). I have tried and tested, i wasnt putting in too much effort and i can hit off with them around there. I wont be so complacent but i would love to know the gauge to know where i stand in the crowd.

Edifire ,Ian, on well the usual Nomad people was at West Coast Park waiting for us, they werent there for the ride , they were there to chat and enjoy the talking with other people. I call them the Nomad grp because most of them are using Nomad. Its somehow everyone's dream bike. I have heard that the Nomad is a really good bike but i am still skeptical. I wont get it unless i get a really good deal.

This ride opened my eyes to the possibility of me riding a road bike in the near future. I was talking to some roadies regarding which bike is worth the buck and which bikes are not. The conclusion is ...... : Polygon Helios 780. Full Carbon bike with very very good parts.
