1a. What type of unemployment was Singapore facing in that period?
Singapore was facing a Tourism Industry unemployment at that period of time.

1 b. List down the reasons why people lost their jobs.
This is becase, of SARS. When there is SARS, people are afraid of traveling especially asian countries because they are afraid that they will get affected. And since there are no tourist, the hotels, travel agents, are all affected. The shopping malls will also be affected because singapore's main revenue comes from the tourist industry.

1c. What can the government do to reduce the unemployment rate?
The Goverment can lower the tax temporary to help the companies.

1d. What can the unemployed people do to regain employment?
The can go upgrade themselves with relevant skills.
