Leadership
i happen to come across Grace's blog after a long while.
You know, it is something interesting, it is a forever ending cycle. I remembered when in Boys Town, i was with the old batch of leaders, it was when Boys town is starting to change for the better with Audrey and many other Supervisors fighting for a new bth.
Then someone ( i cant remember who) brought up his unhappiness saying the last time, boys town was like this , like that... now it is like this and like that , standard so low. Not good enough , that sort of thing. Audrey rebuke saying change is always good, people always compare whats good last time and whats not good now because they feel uncomfortable with change. There will always be people trying their very best to change things so it is always good to just show some support.
Leadership i feel is a skill. It needs to be nurtured and practice makes it better ( i dun think it will make it perfect) .
Martin Luther King Jr is a good leader, but he wasnt born with it , is he ? I doubt so, he practiced it while he was in high school's clubs, his family may have then been into politics and parents influenced him a little but still he managed to become a great leader and help USA settle the Blacks and the Whites problem . That alone is inspiring !
